In Pinellas County, home of Spectrio’s Florida office, and Tulsa County where our Oklahoma office is located, approximately 17% of people are food insecure. That totals more than a quarter million people in those two counties alone. Even worse: 15-19% of that quarter million are children.
With steady jobs and food on our tables every night, we really have it good. That’s why this month Spectrio is having our 2nd Annual “Share the Bounty” food drive.
From now through Thanksgiving, we will be collecting cans and non-perishable food, and at the end of our food drive the company will be matching our donations at $1 per pound!
Food from the Florida office will go to Feeding America Tampa Bay, and the dollar match will go to Impact Family Ministries food pantry. Food and the dollar match from the Oklahoma office will go to Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
