Q&A: How long does it take to update my digital signage content?

ID-100186404If you have digital signage installed at your business, you probably already have some content running. But when you need to make changes to your digital signage content - say, you changed your prices, or you have a different promotion, or you want to welcome a new team member - what type of lead time to you need to get that content up and running?

Most systems are connected to the Internet and can be updated instantaneously. Once the content is done, you're just a mouse-click away from seeing it on your signage. So if you're producing your own content, the answer to this question is entirely up to you!

However, if you are on a service plan with a digital signage content provider like Spectrio, the time frame is going to depend on what exactly you want to change.

For example, you may have a library of video and graphics available to your company. If we're not creating any new custom content or you'd like to simply remove a clip, a change can take as little as a day or two.

If you want to add new graphics, new slides, or new customized animations, the process can take a bit longer - and it really depends on the amount of new content we need to create.

We will always make you aware of our scheduling and the time frame when you call or email us with your request, and we make every attempt to accommodate urgent changes.

Do you have any questions about our digital signage content process? Let us know in the comments. We could feature your question in a future blog post!
