From Radio Broadcasting to Voicing

Here at Spectrio, we are proud to use highly experienced and professional voice talent who come to us with years of knowledge, as well as a diverse audio industry background. From radio, to on-hold, to auto attendants, to television, Art Tiller is no exception.

Art first came to Spectrio in 2009 with an extensive resume of voice work that spans over 30 years. Having started his radio career at a small station in Central New Jersey, Art quickly found a home as an air personality at WSNI-FM Radio in Philadelphia. Art later headed to New York City, to work at radio station WNSR-FM, where he served as both an air personality and as its Music Director. As a successful air talent, Art drew in listeners with his warm, friendly style, while also lending his voice to various station promotions and commercials.

When an opportunity presented itself to work for a Message on Hold Company in Philadelphia, Art decided to take it. Now, over twenty-five years later, Art Tiller is still doing voiceovers for not only a number of projects for Spectrio, but also thousands of national and international, commercial and industrial clients, including Sunoco, Exxon-Mobil, 7-11, and Disney World. Art also lends his voice to the Training and Testing Programs at Educational Testing Services, for those wanting to learn a second language.

From Behind the Microphone to Musician

No longer in radio, Art has become an on-air host for the Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network, otherwise known as C-SPAN. In fact, for the past 16 years, Art has been hosting not only for C-SPAN, but also for C-SPAN 2, C-SPAN 3, C-SPAN Radio and C-SPAN.org. In addition, Art has recorded uncountable C-SPAN promotions and can be heard on a number of C-SPAN’s Cable Emmy award winning productions, including documentaries on the American Presidents, American History and American Writers.

When not working for C-SPAN or voicing audio projects for Spectrio, Art uses his voice to entertain. He and his wife are classically trained singers who have sung with the Master Chorale of Washington and the critically acclaimed Choral Arts Society of Washington, D.C. Art has performed numerous classical choral works in many languages, including Latin, German, French, Finnish, Polish, Spanish and Russian. He’s also proud to have performed in many of the best known concert halls, including, but not limited to: The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Carnegie Hall, Wolf Trap, and Prague’s Rudolphinum Concert Hall. Art has also taken the stage with the National Symphony Orchestra, and with the Prague Radio Orchestra. Art has also performed under the baton of some of the world’s most renowned conductors including Kurt Masur, Ivan Fischer, Emil de Cou, John Williams, Leonard Slatkin and Mstislav Rostropovich, just to name a few. An annual highlight is singing with the Choral Arts chorus for the Capital Fourth Concert held July 4th on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, and televised on PBS. Art has also appeared with such musical artists as Barry Manilow, Aretha Franklin, Neil Diamond, Gloria Estefan, the Beach Boys, Marvin Hamlisch and Reba McEntire among many, many others.

Working with Spectrio

When not performing or working with C-SPAN, Art also enjoys working with Spectrio, as it allows him to lend his voice to a variety of industries all over the U.S. With his thirty-plus years of experience and versatility, Art can quickly customize his read and adapt his style to meet your ever-changing needs. It is Art’s goal, and hope, that his exceptional work will help your business succeed. With this attitude, along with Art’s authoritative, yet friendly and informed approach, vast experience and expansive career, it is no wonder that he’s frequently requested for many of Spectrio’s audio projects. It‘s also just another reason why Art Tiller, for this month, is the “Voice of Choice!”
